The legislation enforced by EEOC helps it be unlawful for Federal agencies to discriminate against workers and job seekers on the bases of competition, color, faith, intercourse, nationwide beginning, impairment, or age. An individual who files an issue or participates in a study of a EEO complaint, or who opposes a work practice made unlawful under some of the statutory rules that EEOC enforces is protected from retaliation.
